At the beginning of April we had our first Peaks climbing meet of the year, at Horseshoe quarry. This area has a lot of sports routes of all grades. Storm Kathleen meant the forecast was not good. There was a total of 5 people on the meet. We started in the Toilet area doing routes like Latrec. Some then went to the Chocolate Blancmange area and some to the Main Wall doing routes like Pale Rider. The rain did then come and we retreated to Outside cafe in Hathersage. Most people manged to get 4 or 5 climbs in.
