The storm and bad weather on Friday saw many people dropping out. Which meant there was just Eleanor and Malcolmf on the meet.
The weather for Saturday did not look too bad. Some sunshine and few showers. Weather looked worst on the higher peaks so we decided to climb Moel Hebog, which is 782m high. We started at Bedgelert and ascend the NE ridge. The weather meant there was a great view of a rainbow most of the way up. It was quite windy on the top so we sheltered on the lee side of a wall to have our lunch and enjoy views over the coastline. We descend NW then through the forest. The worst of the weather started just before we got back to the car.
On Sunday the forecast was much better so we went to the slate quarries. We went into Never Never Land and did Titan and 362. We then went to Castle Inn quarry and did Route 2 and Mogadishu, and then headed home.
